I generally name my sheep. There's no real reason for it, other than I enjoy it, and it's much easier to remember which sheep is Rose than which one is old1986xApo93175-1-12-3, which is something of the naming system I use internally, to keep track of how a particular sheep was made.
Widow Legs
The black and spindly parts of this sheep are very neat. It's also one of my better-ranking sheep of late, rating a 15 (all-time top sheep right now had 36). The last two edges go to Eric's First Sheep and lamb 9440. The third-to-last edge is very cool... and goes to a distant descendant of Sunspots, which is also in this sheep's family tree. Whatever else you may think of it, it has been inarguably prolific. Naga fireballs
In the Mekong River in Thailand, glowing balls about the size of an egg rise from the river in October. The cause of them is not known, although fermentation of plant matter is thought to be involved. The last edge goes to lamb 8599, a child of Stellar Plates. Ursa Major Stream
Many of the stars in our night sky, including the stars of the big dipper, are related to one another. They are part of a group called the Ursa major stream, which were formed in the same star cluster a few hundred million years ago but then scattered from one another. They all move in the same general direction and speed, though. Our sun is not related: it was nowhere near them when they are formed, and is simply passing through their flow.
